I am not a novice when it comes to pastor or church planting.  I served in my former ministry for nearly 36 years, with the large majority of those years in a leadership or pastoral capacity.   Since then I have been the senior pastor of a thriving church that I planted in southwestern Pennsylvania.  I have also earned a bachelors degree in Biblical Studies, a Masters in Biblical Counseling and a Doctorate in Pastoral Ministry.  

I also understand the need for mentorship and the difficulty in processing in ones assignment without proper counseling and preparation.  Often as pastors, we find it difficult to reach out to somebody for help, especially if we believe that we must go outside of our "covering" to get the help that we need to progress in our assignments.
